Management Accountant

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated and talented financial professional to join our Finance team as a Management Accountant. The role is responsible for efficiently and effectively managing a variety of financial reports on behalf of the Finance department. You will also handle a number of financial processes which will work cross-departmentally, supporting the wider Ambition Institute Team with their understanding of the role of finance across the organisation. 

Based in one of our three UK offices (London, Birmingham or Manchester), you’ll proactively ensure that Ambition Institute is financially compliant across all processes, support on financial system projects, and ensure that all monthly processes, such as payroll, are managed competently. The Management Accountant will report to the Finance & Operations Director and will a small team of Finance Associates.

You will have previous experience of working within a similar role, managing the whole internal reporting process, including communicating financial information to none financial staff. You will be committed to Ambition Institute’s mission of improving the education and outcomes of children from disadvantaged backgrounds.  You will be an excellent communicator and be able to build relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, as well as having excellent numeracy and literacy skills and a commitment to the development of staff.
