Ambition to deliver Teacher Training from 2024

We are very pleased to have gained Teacher Training accreditation from the Department for Education.
A great teacher changes the future every day. Especially for children who’ve had a tough start in life, a teacher can be the critical factor in their success. That’s why every teacher should have access to high quality professional development from the very outset of their career.
Through Teacher Training we will work to:
- Support teachers with a strong three-year induction into the profession – from their Teacher Training year through to the two-year ECF programme
- Deliver a golden thread of professional development – from trainee teachers through to trust CEOs.
- Recruit new teachers into the school system, including those from under-represented groups
- Support schools and trusts to develop strong teams: trainees who continue to thrive and develop, and coaches, mentors and leaders who know what it takes to help all teachers to keep getting better.
Over the last year, Ambition Institute and our delivery partners have been delivering professional development to more than 23,000 teachers and school leaders across the Early Career Framework and National Professional Qualifications. This will reach more than 2.5 million children.
Alongside our strong design, we’re also able to draw on the experience and expertise of our staff and partners to provide high quality support to trainee teachers at a pivotal time in their career.
We look forward to working with our partners, ready to start delivery from September 2024.
