Changes to our programmes

The disadvantage gap in education has always been a challenge. Coronavirus has just made it worse. We’re more determined than ever to support teachers and school leaders with high-quality professional development.

We’re adapting our content and delivery across more than 30 live programmes, for over 6,000 teachers and school leaders across the country, as well as updating the programmes yet to start.

Information for future participants or applicants

We are still welcoming applications and expressions of interest for our programmes. We’re working hard to adapt programmes due to start this summer, to help teachers and school leaders address the new and different challenges they’re facing, and to make development as accessible as possible.

We’ll confirm details soon. In the meantime, find out which of our programmes could suit you, your school or your trust.

Information for current programme participants

We’ve emailed all current participants with specific information on your programme. So that you can stay focused on your school and pupils, it’s our priority to help you address the new and different challenges you’re facing, and to make development as accessible as possible.

We’re ready when you are.

One of our guiding principles is ensuring equality of access for all of our participants. We will react to the evolving national picture, whether that brings a return to school before the summer holidays or an extension to lockdown.

We’re currently running many of our programmes online, and we won’t reintroduce face-to-face delivery until we can be sure that the vast majority of participants will be able to safely and comfortably take part.

We know some of you are facing challenges on many fronts and will not be able to engage fully with your programme. Participation this term is therefore at your discretion. We hope the adaptations we’ve made will give you the support you need right now.
