Programmes
Ambition Institute is currently working with schools and trusts across 5 LAs in the Liverpool region (Halton, Knowsley, Sefton, St. Helens and Wirral) to support with school improvement aims, staff retention and improving pupil outcomes through our enhanced programme suite. We are a national education charity who work with several philanthropic partners whose values are aligned with ours in terms of wanting to improve educational outcomes for all children.
Transforming Teaching (TT)
Transforming Teaching is our one year, whole-school programme designed to improve either teaching or curriculum, support senior leadership teams to make measurable, sustainable change and boost retention and career progression. Tailored to the needs and context of your school, this programme is based on robust evidence and delivered by our expert teacher educators.

High Impact Teaching
This programme is designed to improve teaching, boost retention and support career progression. Tailored to the needs and context of your school, this programme is based on robust evidence and delivered by our expert teacher educators.
High-impact teachers are educators who demonstrate exceptional effectiveness in driving positive outcomes and growth in student learning, including those with untapped potential who may benefit from additional support.
The programme provides up to 30 of your teachers with one year of professional development. It develops foundational knowledge, expertise and a shared understanding of effective teaching and learning approaches.

Transforming Teaching helps drive improvements across your whole school by assessing the developmental needs of your teaching body. Our expert educators then create an improvement plan designed to make a measurable, sustainable change to teaching and learning and professional development within your school.
Transforming Teaching is unique as it offers tailored options to ensure you receive the professional development that is most suited to your context.

This programme is your CPD investment for the year, with up to 40 staff across SLT, middle leadership and classroom teaching involved at all stages.

High Impact Teaching
The High Impact Teaching programme with the subsidised costs £3,000. This provides training across one year for up to 30 teachers, so represents a cost per participant of £100 each.
