Every pupil deserves the best start in life. By joining Ambition as a delivery partner, you will become part of a national network dedicated to developing teachers and school leaders who make a genuine impact – particularly for pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Whether you’re interested in delivering Initial Teacher Training, the Early Career Framework (ECF) or National Professional Qualifications (NPQ), you will join a national community committed to transforming education, so every child can thrive.

We are proud to be rated as ‘outstanding’ across all areas of our NPQ and ECF provision by Ofsted.

If you are based in England and a trust, Teaching School Hub or School-Centred Initial Teacher Training provider (SCITT) who is committed to raising standards and supporting your region’s schools, we want to work with you.

You can find out more about partnering with Ambition by completing our enquiry form.

Why partner with Ambition Institute?

As a mission-driven national charity our focus is on the long-term impact for pupils, not profit.

Our network brings together diverse organisations, each contributing their expertise and local insight to a collective effort. Our partnership model is built on collaboration, trust and shared expertise, enabling you to:

  • Deliver the highest quality training based on the latest research and evidence.
  • Achieve measurable impact for your schools.
  • Improve staff retention, career progression and pupil outcomes.
  • Build your reputation as a leading provider of professional development in your region.
  • Strengthen your workforce and build capacity for long-term school improvement.
  • Consult on programme design and shape thought leadership nationwide.
  • Contribute to innovative solutions for SEND and Early Years, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.

We reinvest everything into designing and delivering high-quality, evidence-informed professional development, so you can focus on what matters: helping educators keep getting better.

Initial Teacher Training (ITT) partnerships

As an ITT partner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, school-based teacher training. Trainees gain hands-on classroom experience from day one, working in a single school to build strong relationships and continuity. Each trainee receives one-to-one mentoring and tailored support, helping them thrive and progress in their careers.

Our cohesive curriculum creates a seamless pathway for teacher development. The programme combines face-to-face with online learning, using the latest research and evidence to keep workloads manageable.

Our partners benefit from:

  • Collaboration and co-design opportunities, using your local knowledge and expertise to shape the programme.
  • Dedicated guidance and marketing support to help you attract, develop and retain talented teachers.
  • Access to technology and data tools that make administration simple and provide actionable insights.

I think what I find most useful is that we're doing really relevant training. There's no fluff, everything is very useful. The course is really structured and you can put into practice what you're learning straight away.”
— Kiron, Trainee teacher.

Early Career Framework (ECF) and National Professional Qualifications (NPQ) partnerships

Ambition is a ‘golden thread’ provider. This means our ECF and NPQ programmes are carefully structured to build on previous learning, creating a seamless professional development journey and reducing unnecessary repetition.

Partners benefit from:

  • Exceptional programme design, built on the latest research to support educators’ development from initial teacher training onwards.
  • Rigorous quality assurance and continuous improvement across your network.
  • Operational expertise, including secure technology and specialist recruitment support.
  • Access to a national network: more than 88,000 teachers and leaders have taken part in our ECF and NPQ programmes since 2021.

It is a real partnership, where we develop and learn from each other. We consider the Ambition delivery partner leads to be part of our home team. The quality of the learning resources is world class and we are proud to be part of the delivery.”
- Craig Lilleyman, Director, London District East Teaching School Hub, Boleyn Trust
