Ambition Institute announces international partnership with Teach Well

July 30, 2026

We are pleased to announce that Ambition Institute is partnering with Teach Well, a mission-driven organisation based in Australia that is committed to supporting educators and improving outcomes for pupils.

Together, we are launching two new programmes: Senior Leadership in Schools and Leading Behaviour and Culture in Schools – specifically for teachers and leaders in Australia. This international partnership aligns strongly with our charitable mission to help educators serving children from disadvantaged backgrounds to keep getting better.

At Ambition Institute, we provide high quality training and professional development that supports educators at every stage of their careers. Together with our partners, over 100,000 teachers and school leaders in England have developed their expertise through our programmes, which are based on the most rigorous research and evidence about what works.

Teach Well creates life-long learning opportunities for teachers and school leaders. They translate research into actionable practices that improve student outcomes. With a proven track record of accelerating student learning and engagement, Teach Well’s approach is grounded in evidence and sustained professional support.

Through this partnership, we are supporting professional development and helping educators deliver the best possible outcomes for children - particularly those facing disadvantage.

Hilary Spencer, Chief Executive of Ambition Institute, said:

“At Ambition Institute, we believe every child should have the opportunity to achieve their potential, whatever their background. Our work is focussed on supporting educators to develop their expertise, particularly in schools serving disadvantaged communities. By partnering with Teach Well, we are combining our strengths and experience to support teachers and leaders in Australia. Just as we work with partners across England, this new collaboration is about sharing expertise and working together to give every child the best possible start in life.”

Katie Roberts-Hull, Managing Director of Teach Well, said:

“At Teach Well, we believe that every child deserves access to an excellent education, no matter where they live. Partnering with Ambition Institute allows us to combine our strengths and share evidence-based approaches that truly make a difference for teachers and pupils. By working together, we’re not only building professional expertise but also creating a supportive network for educators who are committed to tackling disadvantage. We’re excited to learn from each other and to see the positive impact this partnership will have in classrooms across Australia.”
